After MIA for about a week, i’m back with the spirits of Chinese New Year! The past week had been rather busy – spring cleaning (umm... i seldom do housework, so can’t really claim credit for that, but i did clean up my desktop and all my backup files are up-to-date now :-p), meeting clients, planning and tidying up some work before the long weekends etc., thus, was hardly at home.
Although i’m still recovering from flu and sore throat and haven’t had the chance to enjoy cny goodies (in fact, i only had my first pineapple tart today), but it has been a great new year so far. PLUS i’ve got complimentary ticket to Stef’s concert at Resorts World later! So excited! :-D
In the process of updating my portfolio. It’s going to take a while to complete because i’ll be changing the look (as well as the software that it was first started). This set of portfolio was first done in 2005 or 2006 and updated a few times till the end of 2008. It’s really time to change!
Honey baked ham, lettuce & tomato sandwich, coffee.

i’m going Shanghai again this coming April/May. Initially the plan was to go Tibet on the same trip, but it takes about two days by train from Shanghai (travel by train has more time to acclimatise to the high altitude, not to mention the great mountain scenery it offers). i thought it will be a bit rush to squeeze the two places into 13 days. So the plan now is to visit Shanghai and nearby areas and save Tibet for next time.
i used to buy every issue but only occasionally now (my neighbour who owns a mama shop gives me good discount :-)) Only starting to browse, will update if there’s anything interesting in this Design Awards 2010 issue. Few years ago, i’ve switched to other magazine subscriptions like EYE– my favourite design magazine.
* The photo turned out ‘noised’ as i didn’t realise my camera is set to ‘night portrait mode’.
** Just when i thought i am going to be a bummer till after Chinese New Year, another new work contact came along. i’m going to take a new brief on Monday, keeping my fingers cross :-)
Plain yogurt with honey, raisin, almond nuts and walnuts.
All of us don’t really like this brand of yogurt, especially my niece. She refused to eat after the first taste. The nuts are really good though, from 饼屋, the biscuit stall at Tiong Bahru Market. i prefer to buy loose packed nuts so i can mix and match the ones i like. They have a good variety of choices there, don’t forget to drop by the next time if you happen to be in the area :-)
