Chinese steamed cake, unknown edible seeds, coffee
i bought these seeds from one of the roadside stalls while travelling in Mongolia. The locals eat them as snacks, munching away as they chat with friends, while waiting for public transport, before dinner is served etc. The shells cracked open easily with a bite, the inside meat is pale yellow wrapped in a thin layer of brown skin and has a slight tint of sweet and raw taste. Quite interesting to eat.
Update: These are actually pine nuts. Thanks Mabel!
i am currently into the app DrawSomething, although it’s so difficult to draw on iphone, but the ugly pictures are really funny to see. Great entertainment.
Not sure how long my interest will last, but if you are also into in, let’s draw together! My username is iammusique :)
The plan was to go JB today, but my genius sis left her passport in her boyfriend’s car (he was out of town and will only be back tomorrow). i ended up with nothing to do on a Saturday.
i’ve been doing nothing except watching online shows and snacking since last Friday. Now that work revisions briefing has finally came in, time to get cracking.
Spicy noodle soup with egg, japanese biscuits (i didn’t eat in the end)
i was distracted with the paint work outside my window while cooking. The egg was slightly overcooked but luckily the centre part of yolk was still runny ♡
