busy bee

Green bean and sweet potato soup

i’m feeling like a busy bee these few weeks... all for my etsy shop of course :-)
There are so much researching and preparation work for every idea, i ended up spending a lot more time running around town (and on the internet) than on producing the work itself. But... i’m also enjoying every minute of it. Come visit!

Wednesday, 15 December 2010

why is this so yummy!

Instant noodle with egg and a piece of leftover otah from lunch, coffee

Looking through my previous posts, i realised that i have to control having instant noodle for breaks... the intake frequency is too short. Scary! i guess the only consolation is i don’t usually finish a pack by myself, and for this i take it that only half of the unhealthiness is being consumed :-)

Tuesday, 14 December 2010

golden or green

Chocolate swiss roll, kiwi, coffee

The label on the kiwi pack says golden kiwi, yet the flesh looks quite greenish. So is this golden or green kiwi?

just coffee

coffee (one of the rare days that i don’t feel hungry at all!)

Coffee and this photo of padi field reminds me of how much i missed my regular coffee during my 10 days stay in China. It was a rather last minute decision to go on the trip and i didn’t have time to stock up enough coffee to bring along. Little that i know that it was almost impossible to buy coffee, let alone the kind that i’m used to drink in a small village. The common beverage in the village was chinese tea. We were served tea at every house we visited, or even when we were just passing by. The village people were very friendly and they love to chat, inviting to tea was their usual way of welcoming guests.

Planting rice notebook is available here.

almost forgotten

Deep fried chinese sticky cake with tapoica and sweet potato, camomile tea

So engrossed with work that i almost forgot to have my break today! After having this at 6pm, i’m not sure if i will have room for dinner.

Current reads: Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
i decided to read the book after hearing lots of negative comments from the movie which i thought it wasn’t that bad. But i could be biased... because it’s Julia Robert and a large part is on travelling (you know how much i love that). And i know it is going to be a safe read since no movie has been better than the book.

sleepless nights

Cheese corn thin crisps, bread with yam paste, coffee

i haven’t been sleeping well for the past whole week... in fact, since the day i was back from Perth, and these few days have been worst. i was still tossing in bed (in a rather dramatic way) at 5am in the morning, it was so frustrating. This happens almost everytime when i return from a trip. Yawn!

There was so much beansprouts i can hardly see the noodle! Yummy as always :-)

Saturday, 13 November 2010

Ham, cheese, alfalfa sprouts and avocado sandwich, lime and black pepper potato chips, orange, coffee
